Sunset Electric ...

Sunset Electric ...

It is safely redundant that sunsets get all the glory shots, we just cannot help ourselves...

It is the symbolism of an ending with the hope of sunrise to follow, and just the awareness of the innate fear of darkness that is linked to every sunset.

But there is also the fleeting beauty that we just cannot fail to want to watch over and over again.

Beaver Feeder

Beaver Feeder

  • Lunching and munching is over...
  •
  •
  • Talk about biting off more than you can chew!

  • Tree down and the beaver will confirm the noise it made, and then the bark got peeled like a buffet-style brunch.

  • Brunch munch on branches?

Sky Shot Ground Game

Ground Game

Sky Shot

Can you ever really catch the real look and feel of the sky?

It always makes you look,
but you know it is as fleeting as emotions and it always makes you feel something:

            Awe     Surprise     Small ...

and wonder:

Why is the sky blue like almost nothing else in nature?

What if it were white all the time and the clouds only Black?

Shroom BOOM

Shroom BOOM

Complete mystery to me that a mushroom can appear at a  random location and live and die in mere days...

In other words you have to be there, sort of like the tree that falls (and will it make a sound if no-one is there etc.)

Meanwhile the beauty of the mushroom shape is part of the attraction, since we like to eat them on our plate but hesitate to approach one in our own backyard!

Really, there are so many random moments, we should all celebrate the camera that allows us to share.

Dear me what is he thinking?

Likewise what am I thinking....?

                  Mostly don't move!

This crop is canola,

but is it also the food source for deer ?

               Or just this deer,

cause he has no friends at the moment.

Clearly a fun day of contentment to share deerly.

Still Life

Still  Life

So somehow, the arrival of snow can act as a "still life"- keeper of flowers, that were happier in the sunny days, (as we all are...)

But then, when some color still remains, so does the hope that when the snow is melted, also will the memories of these frozen days.

Not dead, but not living.

Waiting as long as it takes to revive the energy and rejoicing that life is still worth living...
